10月19日上午，瑞典青年科學(xué)家代表團一行12人對理論物理所進行了訪問，團組成員包括7位2006年英瓦爾·卡爾松獎(Ingvar Carlsson Award)獲得者、2位瑞典戰(zhàn)略研究基金會(Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research)成員、2位瑞典駐華使館參贊和1位使館工作人員。上午九點三十分，與代表團的座談會在理論物理所主樓報告廳舉行，副所長陳曉松研究員、鄭偉謀研究員、周海軍研究員、王延颋副研究員及博士后等參加了會議。

陳曉松副所長首先對代表團的來訪表示了熱烈歡迎，并就中國科學(xué)院概況和理論物理所的歷史、現(xiàn)狀、研究方向、發(fā)展目標(biāo)及卡弗里理論物理所(KITPC)的成立、管理方式及2007-2009年度運行項目的情況等做了簡單介紹，并指出此次訪問將有助于雙方將來的合作。隨后，代表團團長Maria Anvret女士就訪問意圖、瑞典戰(zhàn)略研究基金會及英瓦爾·卡爾松獎的概況做了簡單介紹，指出此次訪問將有助于代表團對理論物理所科研環(huán)境的全面了解及雙方將來可能的合作。會上，周海軍研究員和代表團的郝培德(Petter Holme)博士還分別做了題目為“Solution Space Heterogeneity and Dynamical Heterogeneity Of Random Constraint Satisfaction Problems”和“Model and Methods for Dynamic Networks”的學(xué)術(shù)報告。最后，雙方代表就有關(guān)KITPC的運行、瑞典戰(zhàn)略研究基金會與國際上其它科研院所的合作交流及英瓦爾·卡爾松獎評審等等的細節(jié)問題進行了討論。

最后，雙方代表互贈禮物，會議在友好的氣氛中結(jié)束。

INGVAR CARLSSON AWARD: It is highly desirable from a national viewpoint to create opportunities for researchers who have been abroad for postdoctoral studies to start their own research activities on returning to Sweden. The transition from postdoctoral studies to independent research often constitutes a bottleneck in a scientific career. With this in mind, the Board of the Foundation decided in December 2004 to establish a special programme to encourage young postdocs to come back to work in Sweden. The programme was named after Ingvar Carlsson in recognition of his contribution as Chairman of the Foundation during the period 1997–2002.
